Lane House Studio is a design consultancy delivering projects from first concept through construction completion. The studio brings together international design expertise and licensed local professionals to guide residential, hospitality, and commercial projects with clarity, legal rigor, and design ambition.
We work with clients who want to build well - and who understand that doing so requires both creative vision and fluency in the local regulatory, cultural, and construction environment. That combination is what Lane House is built around.
Team
Tyler Johnson is the co-founder of Lane House Studio and leads the studio’s design direction and project development.
He holds a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and brings over fifteen years of international experience across residential and hospitality projects in the United States, China, UAE and South East Asia. His prior work spans large-scale mixed-use developments and high-end residential environments, with a consistent focus on material expression, climate-responsive design, and spatial precision.
Yichen Ke is co-founder of Lane House Studio and leads the studio’s interior design direction, overseeing furniture selection, material palettes, and spatial atmosphere across all projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has over fifteen years of experience working with global brands and award-winning design studios across residential, retail, and hospitality sectors. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Yichen brings both design rigour and cross-cultural fluency to international collaborations.
Deva Agung is a civil engineer with extensive experience delivering structurally sound, regulation-compliant buildings across Bali. A graduate of Bali State Polytechnic, Deva oversees structural engineering, cost estimation, site supervision, and construction reporting. His fluency in English and experience with international project teams makes him an effective bridge between design intent and on-the-ground delivery.
Ngurah Risyana is a licensed Indonesian architect (IAI) with nearly twenty years of experience designing across Bali and the wider region.
A graduate of Warmadewa University, Ngurah brings deep knowledge of Balinese spatial tradition, local building culture, and Indonesia’s permitting and regulatory environment. His work integrates traditional Balinese principles — orientation, hierarchy, materiality — with contemporary and eco-conscious design thinking. As the studio’s architect of record, Ngurah leads all technical documentation, permit submissions, and on-site coordination.

Lane House Studio operates through PT Lane House Studio, a legally registered foreign investment company (PT PMA) incorporated in the Republic of Indonesia. The company was established by Notarial Deed No. 10 on 13 March 2024, approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and holds an active Business Identification Number (NIB) under Indonesia's national business registration system.
Clients engage a fully structured, accountable Indonesian legal entity — with licensed local architects and engineers embedded in every project from design through construction.
